Press Release
My name is Rich Pavadore and I would like to offer my endorsements for Mr. Ben Quelle and Mr. Allin Frawley as future members of the Board of Selectmen. Over the past few months I have had the opportunity to meet with and speak to both candidates and have found them to be energetic and passionate about improving the town of Middleborough. Although each of the gentlemen have distinctly different personalities and ideas, both have shown me that they have positive attitudes, professionalism and the commitment to serve our town expeditiously.
During my tenure as a member of the Finance Committee, I believe it is imperative for all committees and boards to work closely together so we can collectively provide the citizens the best possible local government. I also believe that open meetings should not only be open to the public but also inviting to everyone who takes the time to attend. The Finance Committee has strived to welcome anyone attending our meetings. We feel it is important for us to listen to the concerns, comments and questions from our visitors in order for us to provide more educated recommendations to the town. Allin and Ben have shown their willingness to bring that same spirit to the Board of Selectmen.
I believe that Ben and Allin have the skills and unselfish desire, to independently listen to all sides of the issues before them, educate themselves on those issues, and then provide us with unbiased and timely votes so that the Board and Town can move forward together.
Your vote on April 2nd at the Annual Election will define how our town moves forward in the years to come. These elected leaders will make many social, political and financial decisions that will directly affect your everyday life. It is important to elect the leaders that best represent your ideas.
This letter does not represent the opinions, or decisions of the Finance Committee or any of its members of which I am one. This is a personal letter from me as an active participant in the operation of our town.
Thank you,
Richard J. Pavadore
